Movilidad 2030 will design an architecture based on a distributed computing model that minimizes communication latency for safety services or for negotiations between the different elements of the road, which must make decisions in milliseconds. The new C-ITS (Connected - Intelligent Transport Systems) services day 2 and day 3 of the latest generation will be addressed with the aim of enabling vehicles to obtain information about their environment, to improve traffic safety conditions, driving efficiency and emissions reduction, facilitating the decision making of connected and automated vehicles.
In addition, Movilidad 2030 addresses the integration and exploitation of data jointly, developing algorithms based on neural networks that allow a more accurate characterization of traffic, as well as demand predictions, studying the impact that the progressive incorporation of autonomous and electric vehicles will have.
