On-Board

The deployment of cooperative, autonomous, and connected driving as the basis of the new sustainable, accessible, and intelligent mobility comes from the development of vehicle technologies, which are based on the vehicle itself. This project proposes the research of a new generation of ADAS that share information between vehicles (V2X) and thus become another element of information input for planning, defining a new concept of collaborative ADAS.

In this sense, Movilidad 2030 adopts a new approach to integrate the most advanced systems for both communications and external perception, investigating the use of data received through radio-link communications as a source of information used by external perception systems and for acting on the CAV, with the aim of increasing its safety.

Vehicles must have a clearly defined strategy for efficient driving, making use of localization systems and dynamic maps to generate trajectory models and planning. Movilidad 2030 proposes the development of an innovative energy use control system through more efficient predictive power management and more responsive autonomous emergency safety braking.
