Trends in transportation, energy and demographics indicate that the vehicles of the future will run autonomously on electricity rather than fossil fuels and will be shared rather than privately owned. As a result, electric vehicle charging is becoming an increasingly crucial aspect of future mobility. Another factor stemming from this trend is who oversees charging the vehicle, especially once EVs are deployed on a larger scale. 

The present work aims to provide answers to these two new needs, on the one hand, to take a step forward in wireless vehicle charging technology, overcoming the technological barriers of current solutions, and complementarily, to have a reliable system that allows predicting the vehicle battery autonomy in real time, as well as recommending and planning the optimal route and making a more efficient use of the charging infrastructure.
