Architecture for connected and electric mobility

The growth of connected vehicles during the next decade supose a challenge at the level of joint management and orchestration. Therefore, this activity investigates the creation of a platform where the different computing models and technologies allow real-time processing and storage of the data provided by the vehicles, in such a way that the huge amount of information that will be generated per second can be consumed. 

This platform has a design oriented to the deployment of mobility services for CAVs and electric vehicles, conceived to operate safety and efficiency systems that reduce accidents and improve road use, with a remarkable potential to bring together large volumes of information, resulting in a more intelligent and efficient traffic management environment enabled by the infrastructure and the CAVs. The planned, orderly, and predictive performance will result in an improvement of the quality of life in cities. In addition, intelligent mobility prediction will enable early detection of incidents and preventive action.
