Movilidad 2030 will try to enable tools that provide solutions to the situations mentioned above. First, it is necessary to have more advanced perception systems, which allow to know in the greatest possible detail the exterior of the vehicle.

V2X communication technologies will be essential to support, from the infrastructure and other CAVs, the on-board environment perception systems. In this context, the deployment of C-ITS Day 2 and 3 services provides essential traffic-related information, facilitating the cooperation and orchestration of the different elements of the road. Finally, the fusion of all this information is necessary to establish a decision-making system according to the data available thanks to the aforementioned technologies, allowing the vehicle to act according to the situation in which it finds itself.

This scenario will simulate several of the most common compromised situations that a CAV will face in the coming years, in order to validate the technology that allows to make the right decisions to solve the situations in each case, in the most safe and efficient conditions possible.
