Intelligent automated inductive charging
Currently, the different vehicles on the market have different heights and dimensions, which makes it difficult to design wireless systems, as well as to adapt them and deploy them in a generalized way. In addition, for safety reasons, these systems must incorporate a system for detecting live objects and metallic objects, in order to avoid unwanted radiation and fire risk.
This scenario seeks to demonstrate the feasibility of wireless charging of electric vehicles and its associated foreign object detection system. To this end, tests will be carried out with a prototype that allows this change of distances by comparing it with a reference scenario. Different live and metallic object detection scenarios will also be evaluated with a prototype.
